A Musical Journey,

House of Music, Budapest

We were central to the team developing a 1000m2 AV-led permanent exhibition on the history of music for the national Hungarian House of Music. Kathryn Johnson had the role of curatorial consultant and shaped the exhibition narrative, while Zsolt Balogh developed the AV design elements. Our joint contribution at concept and design development phase was critical and extensive.

In 2020, we designed and delivered a large scale projection-mapped installation with AR elements for permanent installation in the House. The House opened in 2022 in Budapest, with architectural design by Sou Fujimoto. The exhibition takes visitors on an epic musical and historical journey, from ancient shamanistic music to rock ‘n’ roll and digital mash-ups.
